Florida Advanced Courses & Tests (FACT)
Section 1007.35, Florida Statutes, establishes advanced courses developed by the Florida Department of Education in collaboration with public postsecondary institutions as an additional acceleration option for students. The Department has collaborated with secondary and postsecondary faculty to develop high school advanced courses and associated assessments under the program title of Florida Advanced Courses and Tests (FACT), which will offer students an opportunity to earn college credit at a Florida public postsecondary institution.
In the 2025–26 academic year, the Department launched FACT College Algebra as a pilot. During the 2026–27 academic year, the Department is releasing FACT College Algebra for full statewide implementation and launching a pilot of FACT U.S. History.
