FCAT 2.0 Historical

Results

From 2011–2014, the FCAT 2.0 was used to measure student achievement of the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGSSS) in reading, mathematics, and writing, and beginning in 2011, Florida began phasing in Florida End-of-Course (EOC) Assessments aligned to the NGSSS. In 2012, EOC assessments for Geometry and Biology 1 were administered for the first time. Beginning in 2013, a social studies EOC assessment in U.S. History was added, followed by the Civics EOC assessment in 2014. In spring 2015, the FCAT 2.0 was replaced by the Florida Standards Assessments (FSA) in English language arts and mathematics, as well as FSA Algebra 1 and Geometry EOC assessments, to measure student achievement of the Florida Standards. The Statewide Science Assessment and science and social studies EOC assessments continue to be administered.
