Mission statement

Lux Mundi Learning, LLC is dedicated to empowering high school students to achieve Spanish language proficiency through the exclusively licensed Three Pillar Model — a pioneering methodology developed and implemented at the University of Florida by founder, Dr. Crystal Marull (Marull & Kumar, 2020). This model has been licensed to Lux Mundi Learning to enhance the educational offerings for Spanish I and II.*

Type of Program being offered in Florida

Fully online, flex-paced virtual high school credit courses (grades 9–12):

Spanish I (Course Code 0708340)
Spanish II (Course Code 0708350)

These FL B.E.S.T.-aligned courses are delivered through self-paced modules with instructor support and live native-speaker conversation practice. They follow Florida state standards and ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines and are eligible for Step Up for Students scholarship programs.

Learning Management System

Canvas (secure, password-protected LMS for all coursework, assignments, quizzes, and progress tracking; supplemented with Zoom for live sessions).

Teacher Qualifications

All administrative and instructional personnel are Florida-certified or meet the requirements for adjunct certification as defined in state statute. Current staff are based in Florida. Courses were developed by Dr. Crystal Marull (PhD in Spanish & Second Language Acquisition).
