FCAT 2.0 Test Item Specifications

Each Specifications document defines the content and format of the assessment and the assessment's items for item writers and reviewers, and indicates the alignment of items with the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards. They also serve as a source of information for educators and the general public.

Beginning in 2012, the FCAT 2.0 will measure student achievement in science (grades 5 and 8). Beginning in 2013, the FCAT 2.0 will measure student achievement in writing (grades 4, 8, and 10).
