B.E.S.T. Standards for Mathematics

Florida’s Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) Standards for Mathematics were adopted by the State Board of Education on February 12, 2020. Additionally, on September 23, 2020 the SBE approved the amendment to Rule 6A-1.09412, Course Requirements – Grades K-12 Basic and Adult Secondary Programs.

B.E.S.T. Mathematics Middle Grades Spring Professional Learning Events, February and March 2023

  • During the 2023 B.E.S.T. Mathematics Middle Grades Spring Professional Learning Events. Participants will focus on grades six through eight standards, utilizing instructional materials, and acquiring strategies to teach accelerated courses in middle grades.
     
  • The B.E.S.T. Mathematics Middle Grades Spring Professional Learning Events are scheduled to be held on the dates listed (Saturdays) throughout the months of February and March:
