Tallahassee State College Visit
Tallahassee, Fla., August 1, 2025 – On August 1, 2025, Commissioner of Education Anastasios Kamoutsas spent an inspiring day of discovery at Tallahassee State College exploring career readiness programs. The visit began at Tallahassee Collegiate Academy, a tuition-free STEM charter high school where students graduate with a high school diploma, an Associate of Science degree in a chosen field and zero debt. Additional highlights included the Dental Hygiene Clinic and Simulation Lab, as well as the future site of the Innovation Hub, a unique space designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application for students in Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. These initiatives are building a stronger future for Florida by equipping students with the skills and experience needed to meet growing workforce demands.
