Luis M. Fusté

Luis M. Fusté is an attorney and lifelong public servant with more than four decades of service to the State of Florida. He is the founder of Fuste Law, P.A., a Miami-based firm concentrating in labor, administrative, and family law.

Before establishing his practice, Mr. Fusté served as Assistant General Counsel for the Dade County Police Benevolent Association, representing law enforcement officers in employment and disciplinary matters. He also served 32 years with the Miami-Dade Police Department, rising to the rank of Lieutenant and concluding his career in the Department’s Legal Unit assigned to its Forfeiture Asset Unit.

Mr. Fusté earned his Juris Doctor, with honors, from Florida International University College of Law, where he served on Law Review.

He recently served as Chair of the Florida Commission on Ethics and previously served as Founding Chair of the Doral College Board of Trustees. His career reflects a longstanding commitment to public service, institutional accountability, and educational governance.

A United States Marine Corps veteran, devoted husband, and proud father, Mr. Fusté considers his most important role to be that of a father and remains committed to strengthening Florida’s public institutions for future generations.
