Teacher Classroom Collaboration (TCC) Interactive Training Video

An interactive video has been created to help new Teacher Classroom Collaboration users get started. In this demonstration, viewers will learn how to access their TCC accounts, create private classes, and invite new users (faculty, parents, students). Additionally, new users will discover how to access a variety of the TCC application's features, as well as be provided with some tips on how to best use them. This video is interactive. Throughout the video, interactive areas will be highlighted in green. When these areas show up, you must click the highlighted area to continue. If you are a teacher at a Florida public school you will be eligible for up to 5 in-service points after completing this video. To obtain your certificate, be sure to follow all of the instructions in the video. You will not be able to retrieve this certificate if the proper steps are not completed. Visit the Teacher Classroom Collaboration and scroll to the bottom of the page to find the video.

I hope you all had a chance to check out the new Teacher Classroom Collaboration tool through the Novachi.com site. If not, be sure to log in today at http://goo.gl/DyR4v. Among those of you who did log in as of Friday at Midnight, we have randomly chosen three teachers to receive some great prizes.

And the winners are:

Erica Smith from Landmark Middle School in Duval has won a new iPad
Kristina Heit from Oak Hammok School in St. Lucie has won a 2night,3 day hotel stay at Siesta Key/Sarasota
Ivette Torres from Evans High in Orange has won a Grade Cam

Congratulations to this month's TCC/FL Teacher Community winners and thank you to all who have participated. A new contest will begin tomorrow, 5/15!

Join the BOOK IT! Club for Pre-K through Grade 6. Boost the fervor and fun a child has for reading with praise, prizes and a whole lot of fun!

As teacher liaison, my goal is to provide direct communication between educators and the Florida Department of Education. The Just for Teachers website contains information on education legislation, student incentives and statewide programs. Through surveys, regional discussion panels and state-wide roundtable discussions, teachers will have opportunities to give feedback on educational policy. The site also makes numerous resources available to help with the day-to-day challenges of teaching. The Just for Teachers newsletter, sent via e-mail and posted on the site, provides up-to-date news on the latest state-level initiatives and programs.
