Principal Achievement Award For Outstanding Leadership Program
The Principal Achievement Award for Outstanding Leadership was established in 1988, to recognize exemplary principals for their contributions to their schools and communities. The program honors principals that have spearheaded initiatives to increase student performance, promote safe learning environments and establish partnerships with parents and community members.
Nomination packets are sent to district superintendents. Each district may nominate one principal. From the nominations, one principal will be named as the state winner of the Principal Achievement Award for Outstanding Leadership.
Each candidate is required to have served his/her current school for the entire school year for which they are being nominated.
