2001 Legislative Appropriation

  • While the Workforce Development Education Fund needed $32 million in new funds to pay for all performances that had been earned, new funds only addressed the prior year corrections and $976,469 for additional incentive funds for Vocational Certificate Programs.
  • The category of critical jobs was funded at a little over $5 million with most of the funding earmarked for continuation proposals or special projects.
  • Dual enrollment funding survived with no changes.
  • Adults with Disabilities funding remained stable.
  • The Preferred Technology Pathway was funded at $2,000,000.
