What's Working Series
“What’s Working in Effective Teaching and Leadership” is a series of learning and listening workshops instituted by the Florida State Board of Education and supported by the Department of Education. The series provides all stakeholders an opportunity to interact and dialogue with national education leaders on specific topics that support effective teaching and school leadership.Why is DOE offering these workshops?
At the request of the State Board of Education, Commissioner Smith will host a series of workshops designed to provide opportunities for dialogue, information sharing, and feedback from educators and stakeholders around the state relating to the education profession and the students we serve. The State Board of Education wishes to gather input provided by teachers, principals, teacher educators, administrators, parents and community leaders from these workshops to assist in future policy development.Who should attend?

Calendar of Sessions
