Lee County Nurse Named 2011 Florida School Nurse of the Year
Corinne Nelson, the Lee County Schools Health Specialist for the Early Head Start and Head Start programs, has been named the 2011 School Nurse of the Year by the Florida Association of School Nurses. Nelson was recognized for her dedication to providing excellent medical care in a safe environment, serving as a liaison and collaborating with an extensive network of community resources, and her involvement with local, state and federal health care organizations and committees.
