Pensacola Junior College Professor Wins National Award
Wayne Wooten, an astronomy professor at Pensacola Junior College (PJC), has won the Astronomical League Award, the highest award in amateur astronomy given to an individual who has made worthwhile contributions in astronomy at the national or international level. The award recognized Wooten’s lifetime commitment to astronomy and astronomy education as the PJC department head of Physical Sciences.
