Florida Student Places First in National Competition
Charlton Cheng, a senior at Ferguson High School in Miami-Dade County, recently placed first in the engineering division of the National Agriscience Fair sponsored by the National Future Farmers of America Organization. Cheng won for his research study titled, What is the Most Efficient Variation of a Wind Turbine in Suburban/Farmland Areas? He was recognized by the Commissioner of Education and the Florida Cabinet on Jan. 26 in Tallahassee.
