Lake-Sumter Community College Awarded Workforce Grant
Lake-Sumter Community College was recently awarded a $95,000 grant through Workforce Central Florida to train electronic health record support technicians. The grant will enable the college to prepare students to assist physician’s practices in the transition to electronic records and in the maintenance of the systems.
