Valencia Community College’s Osceola Campus Receives National Hispanic Education Award

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) has presented Valencia Community College’s Osceola Campus with its Outstanding HACU-Member Institution Award. The award was in recognition of the college’s extraordinary efforts and success in advancing the mission and goals of HACU.

Valencia is a federally designated Hispanic-Serving Institution, with more than 27 percent of the college-wide enrollment and 46 percent of enrollment on the Osceola Campus made up of Hispanic students. The college is third in the nation in the number of associate degrees earned by Hispanics.
