Dunbar High School Recognized As First Microsoft Certified High School In Nation

Dunbar High School in Lee County has been recognized as the first Microsoft Certified High School in the nation for its computer certification program. Since the programís inception, more than 712 Industry Standard Information Technology computer certifications have been earned through the Microsoft training. Additionally, more than 450 IT Certification Tests were passed by students in 2007-2008. Of the students enrolled in the Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technicians track, 100 percent have become certified.

Dunbar earned the Magnet School of Distinction for 2007 and 2008 by the Magnet Schools of America.
