CFEF Superintendents of the Year

Superintendent Joseph Joyner of St. Johns County and Superintendent MaryEllen Elia of Hillsborough County were recently honored as Superintendents of the Year by the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations (CFEF) during its 62nd Annual Joint Meeting of the Florida School Boards Association.

This is the first year that the CFEF has given this award. Dr. Joyner won in the 50,000 students and under category, while MaryEllen won in the over 50,000-student category.

The CFEF focuses its efforts on statewide and regional issues affecting foundations and also promotes best practices connecting school districts with their education foundations.
