Seminole County Public School Teachers Honored as PRISM Winners

Three Seminole County Public School teachers have been honored as regional winners of the PRISM Outstanding Teacher Award, recognizing their excellence as educators. Mary Timmerman from Sterling Park Elementary, Kathleen Moreno from Jackson Heights Middle, and Bill Yucuis from Lyman High were each awarded a check for $500.

PRISM is a private/public partnership Promoting Regional Improvement in Science and Math (PRISM). The partnership serves eight school districts including Brevard, Hillsborough, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, and Volusia in recognizing, supporting and fostering outstanding teaching and learning of science and math in Central Florida.
