Brevard Public Schools Lauded with Governor’s Sterling Award

Governor Charlie Crist recently announced that Brevard Public Schools (BPS) earned the 2007 Governor’s Sterling Award. The coveted honor recognizes excellence in management, operations and student performance. In the 15 years that the award has been presented, BPS is only the second school district to receive the honor at the district level. The last district selected was Pinellas County in 1993.
