Horizon Middle Students Place Second in Nation
in Technology Competition

Sixteen Horizon Middle School Technology Student Association (TSA) members competed in the 27th National TSA Conference and Competitions in Chicago, Illinois, on June 28th - July 2, 2005. The four-day event was attended by over 4,200 students from high schools and middle schools across the country competing in a wide range of technology education challenges. The Horizon TSA Chapter placed second in the nation overall by placing 14 events into the top ten finalist categories.

"This was a great performance by an outstanding group of students. I am proud of their effort and how well they represented their school and our community," said Rebecca Allen, Chapter Advisor.

The individual event results were as follows:
