Florida Public Virtual Schools
Virtual Charter School
The 2011 Legislature authorized virtual charter schools to serve eligible full-time students in grades K-12. Students must meet the eligibility requirements specified in section 1002.455, F.S. The virtual charter school must contract with an approved private provider or with Florida Virtual School for its virtual instruction program. In addition, the virtual charter school must amend its charter or submit a new application to the school district.
