2016-17 Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

The deadline for submitting proposals for the 2016-17 grant cycle was March 23, 2016, at 5:00 p.m.

This year, the department released two Requests for Proposals for the 2016-17 (RFP) for competitive projects for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program (21st CCLC), authorized under Title IV, Part B of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, as amended.

Statewide RFP

The Florida Department of Education accepted proposals to operate a 21st CCLC program in any Florida county.

Geographic Diversity RFP

The Florida Department of Education accepted proposals to operate a 21st CCLC programs in targeted Florida counties not currently served by a 21st CCLC program.

The targeted counties were: Baker, Calhoun, Charlotte, Citrus, Dixie, Escambia, Glades, Hamilton, Hardee, Hendry, Jackson, Jefferson, Lafayette, Lee, Levy, Madison, Martin, Nassau, Okeechobee, Putnam, St. Johns, Santa Rosa, Union, Walton and Washington.

RFP workshops were held in Central Florida, South Florida and North Florida.

The FINAL APPROVED 2015-16 Request for Application (RFA) was emailed to continuing programs on June 5, 2015.

Applications were due by 5:00 p.m. EDT on June 19, 2015.
