" Be Brave" School Safety Hotline & Other Hotline Programs

In an effort to reduce violence in Florida schools, the Florida Sheriff's Task Force, through the Department of Education, is assigned the task of developing, overseeing, and managing a School Safety Hotline. The purpose of the project is to provide a no-cost, reporting system that allows for the anonymous reporting of drugs, guns, weapons, violence and other criminal activity within the educational system. The project's requirements are defined in Section 1006.141, Florida Statutes, and is funded with Title V - Promoting Informed Parental Choice and Innovative Programs federal funds.
