In an effort to support schools, a train-the-trainer Domestic Security Training for School Districts course is available and open, free of charge, to school district personnel. The course is designed for district personnel to become instructors and to take the training back to their district to fit their district’s needs. The course is being offered by the School District of Palm Beach County Police Department, through April, 2006, and is sponsored by the Florida Department of Education, through a grant from the Department of Homeland Security. Specific dates are March 14-16, 2006; March 28-30, 2006; and April 4-6, 2006.
