Commissioner’s Teacher Task Force to Meet in Tallahassee

The Commissioner’s Teacher Task Force will meet this Monday in Tallahassee. A key focus of the meeting will involve members of the Florida Department of Education, including Public Schools Chancellor Dr. Frances Haithcock, updating Task Force members on the state’s Race to the Top efforts.

The Commissioner’s Teacher Task Force was created by the Department of Education, in partnership with the Florida Education Foundation, to serve as an advisory group to the Commissioner. This group of educators, representing teachers statewide, works to identify opportunities for collaboration among Department staff and educators throughout the state with a focus on elevating the teaching profession in Florida.
