CollegeWeekLive FALL Will Host Eighteen Florida Higher Education InstitutionsForty-Thousand Students and Schools to Connect Live November 3-4, 2010 at www.CollegeWeekLive.com
BOSTON – October 28, 2010 – CollegeWeekLive, the leading virtual college fair, today announced that CollegeWeekLive FALL will host 18 Florida institutions of higher education. CollegeWeekLive FALL is a special two-day event on Wednesday, November 3rd and Thursday, November 4th daily from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Eastern. The event will draw more than 40,000 high school students and more than 1,000 admissions representatives from 300 leading colleges – making it the largest college fair in the world. Registration is free.
The event, to be held entirely online at www.CollegeWeekLive.com, will feature 18 Florida institutions:

“College Week Live provides Florida students and parents with a useful tool to help them make the most informed choices possible about the great colleges and universities across the state and country,” said Education Commissioner Dr. Eric J. Smith. “I encourage all Florida high school students and their parents to take advantage of this opportunity and learn a great deal from the event.”
In addition to connecting high school students with college admissions representatives, CollegeWeekLive will present more than 150 hours of live video presentations from current college students and admissions experts, helping students learn about the college application process, financial aid opportunities, and university life experience. Teens can get a feel for campus life by watching students webcast live from their dorm rooms, sharing details regarding student life and why they picked their alma mater. CollegeWeekLive is proud to present the event in partnership with the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Federal Student Aid, whose representatives will be available live online to answer questions from students and parents live via text chat and phone until midnight MDT from their virtual booth.
