Education Commissioner to Attend Future of Florida Forum Meeting in Orlando
Education Commissioner Dr. Eric J. Smith will join State University System Chancellor Frank Brogan at the 2010 Future of Florida Forum tomorrow in Orlando to discuss best practices in preparing Florida’s students for meaningful and productive careers. Commissioner Smith will also be on hand to accept a $150,000 donation from AT&T Foundation President Marshall Criser. The donation will be used to create professional development opportunities that will help Career and Technical Education teachers integrate academics into their coursework.The event will take place:
