“What’s Working” Workshop Heads to Tampa to Discuss Teacher Evaluation and Support Systems
The Florida Department of Education (DOE) will hold its third workshop in the “What’s Working in Effective Teaching and Leadership” series today in Tampa. Dan Weisberg, the Vice President of Policy for the New Teacher Project, will be the featured speaker for the event. He will join Florida Commissioner of Education Dr. Eric Smith and Chancellor of Florida’s Public Schools Dr. Frances Haithcock to discuss the best ways to support effective instruction with teacher evaluations.For those who are unable to attend in person, the workshop will also be webcast live through the DOE website at www.fldoe.org.
