Deadline Approaches to Sign Up as a Race to the Top Volunteer

Floridians of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply for a position on one of eight state implementation committees responsible for organizing and executing the state’s work as outlined in the federal Race to the Top grant application. Through Race to the Top, Florida will receive $700 million with 50 percent of the award going directly to participating school districts and 50 percent benefiting all districts statewide. The volunteers being sought will use their expertise to assist with statewide projects.
