Education Commissioner to Attend Launch of Common Core State Standards

Florida Education Commissioner Dr. Eric J. Smith will join governors, state education chiefs and education stakeholders from across the country tomorrow to launch the K-12 Common Core State Standards for English-Language Arts and Mathematics. The event marks the end of the development phase and the beginning of the adoption process in individual states.

The event will be held:
