Statement By: Education Commissioner Dr. Eric J. Smith Regarding Florida’s 2010 U.S. Presidential Scholars

“My congratulations go out to the four Florida high school students who were announced yesterday as 2010 U.S. Presidential Scholars. They have earned an esteemed honor and their hard work is a reflection of Florida’s ongoing commitment to produce the nation’s best and brightest students. They are a clear representation of what’s possible through hard work and a commitment to purpose and I have no doubt their future efforts will make our state proud.”
