Department of Education Hosts Education Academy
The Florida Department of Education and the Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science will welcome superintendents and principals from throughout the state today for an Education Academy focused on the famed exhibit THE KINSEY COLLECTION: The Shared Treasures of Bernard and Shirley Kinsey: “Where Art and History Intersect.”

Smith will be joined by Florida Association of District School Superintendents Chief Executive Officer Bill Montford and Chancellor of Florida’s State University System Frank Brogan for this first-of-its-kind event with special guests Bernard and Shirley Kinsey. Participants will experience the exhibit first-hand and learn how the collection can be shared digitally through the innovative use of Florida's recently launched iTunes U Web site.
