Florida Students to Compete in Science and Technology Challenge
TALLAHASSEE – Department of Education’s Chancellor of Public Schools Dr. Frances Haithcock will be joined by representatives from the Federal Aviation Administration and Leon County Public Schools tomorrow to announce Florida’s participation in a national science and technology challenge. Amos P. Godby High School’s Information Technology Academy will serve as a backdrop for the announcement, highlighting Florida’s commitment to the more than 100 career academies in science, technology, engineering and math.
