Florida Celebrates First Ever Literacy Week

Education Commissioner Dr. Eric J. Smith tomorrow will continue the celebration of Florida’s first Literacy Week. Two events are scheduled aimed at promoting literacy throughout the state and raising awareness of the programs and projects offered by the Department of Education and its partner agencies and organizations. Literacy Week promotes the enjoyment of reading for children and adults of all ages.
