Florida Celebrates First Ever Literacy Week

Florida’s first “Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida!” will be held the week of January 12-16. Throughout the week, many events have been planned aimed at promoting literacy throughout the state by raising awareness of the programs and projects offered by the Department of Education and its partner agencies and organizations. Literacy Week will promote the enjoyment of reading for children and adults of all ages.
