State Board of Education to Meet in Tampa

The State Board of Education meeting will be held tomorrow in Tampa.

The State Board will address the following topics:

• Differentiated Accountability Status Report
• Design of a Monitoring and Professional Development System Around Reading in Elementary Schools
• Approval of Next Generation PreK-20 Education Strategic Plan
• Approval of Commissioner’s Recommendation on Exclusivity for School Districts to Authorize Charter Schools in their Geographical Areas
