First Meeting of Commissioner’s Education Policy Advisory Group to be Webcast

The Department of Education today will webcast the initial meeting of the Commissioner’s Education Policy Advisory Group. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the proposed enhancements to the high school grading formula as required by Section 1008.34, Florida Statutes.

The Commissioner’s Education Policy Advisory Group is comprised of school district superintendents, school principals, district accountability directors, DOE officials, and education association representatives. The Group will be convened as necessary to discuss accountability enhancements in Florida’s public schools.
