Commissioner Smith to Announce Hazardous Weather Awareness Week Essay Contest Winners

Education Commissioner Eric J. Smith Monday will announce the winners of the Hazardous Weather Awareness Week Essay Contest at the Historic Capitol’s Senate Chambers. Commissioner Smith will be joined by the Division of Emergency Management Director Craig Fugate and State Meteorologist Ben Nelson to promote greater awareness and educate Floridians about the importance of preparedness for all weather hazards.
