Department of Education to Hold FCAT External
Advisory Group Meeting in Orlando
The Department of Education (DOE) will hold the fourth Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) External Advisory Group meeting tomorrow in Orlando. The agenda includes a progress report from the Buros Center for Testing and discussions from group members regarding suggested changes to the school grading formula.

The Department has established an FCAT External Advisory Group Web site at http://fcat.fldoe.org/fcatadvisory/ that contains all the materials for current and past meetings.
Attendees of the meeting represent education stakeholder groups throughout the state, including school district superintendents, school district administrators, district assessment coordinators, DOE officials, and education association representatives.
