Board of Governors committee to hold conference call Nov. 3 to discuss funding recommendations for 21st Century Scholars
TALLAHASSEE — The Research and Economic Development Committee of the Board of Governors of the State University System of Florida will hold a conference call Friday, November 3, to discuss funding recommendations for the 21st Century Scholars Program.
The 21st Century Scholars Program was created by the 2006 Florida Legislature to provide funding for institutions of the State University System to attract and retain world-class scholars in science and engineering.
The conference call will begin at 2 p.m. EST.
Members of the media are asked to use land lines for the call, not cell phones, and to place their phones on mute, not on hold, during the discussion.
