Commissioner Winn to Announce Interagency Partnership for Students With Disabilities

TALLAHASSEE — Education Commissioner John L. Winn on Monday will announce an interagency agreement to support the transition of students with disabilities from high school to postsecondary training and employment. The partnering agencies are the Florida Departments of Education, Health, Children and Families, and the Agency for Persons with Disabilities.

Commissioner Winn will be joined by Conney Dahn, Florida's 2007 Department of Education/Macy's Teacher of the Year; Shelly Brantley, Executive Director, Agency for Persons with Disabilities; M. Rony François, M.D., M.S.P.H., Ph.D., Secretary, Department of Health; and Leon County Schools Interim Superintendent Jim Croteau.
