Governor Bush to Attend Read Together, Florida Kickoff

Governor Jeb Bush will attend the Read Together, Florida event, kicking off the state's third annual reading promotion on Thursday in Tampa.

The event is a part of Florida's One State, One Book reading promotion. The book that will be highlighted at the event is The Zero Game by Brad Metzler.

Governor Bush will be joined by Mayor Pam Iorio, Hillsborough County Commission Chairman Jim Norman, Florida Department of Education Commissioner John Winn, Hillsborough County Libraries Director Joe Stines, Washington Mutual Executive Vice-President Gwynn Virostek, Cori Flam-Metzler, wife of author Brad Metzler, community reading groups, high school students and other local officials.
