Department of Education to Hold Press Briefing Call to Discuss Koret Task Force
The Florida Department of Education will hold a media briefing tomorrow via conference call to discuss the Koret Task Force on K-12 Education. The Koret Task Force is a team of education experts whose research addresses American education policy. Their main purpose is to evaluate and examine current reform measures in order to enhance the quality of K-12 education. On Tuesday, September 12, they will present their recommendations and findings after a nine-month assessment of Florida's education polices and programs. The task force was brought together by the Hoover Institution, a public policy research center.

- K-12 Public Schools Chancellor Cheri Pierson Yecke, Ph.D.
- Deputy Commissioner of Accountability, Research and Measurement Hanna Skandera
