Florida Celebrates Teacher Appreciation Week

JENSEN BEACH — K-12 Deputy Chancellor Pamela Stewart tomorrow will visit Jensen Beach High School in Martin County in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week. This is the second day of a week-long celebration recognizing Florida’s more than 180,000 teachers.

The Florida Education Foundation has partnered with businesses throughout the state to offer special deals and discounts to Florida's teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week, as well as throughout the year. Some of the offers include promotions from Macy's, Wet and Wild, Rack Room Shoes, Medieval Times, Wannado City, Bealls, and Borders Books.
