Department of Education to Hold Media Briefing by Conference Call National Education Summit

The Department of Education will hold a media briefing today by conference call regarding the By the Numbers: A National Education Data Summit to be held this Thursday and Friday in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The event is co-hosted by the U.S. Department of Education (U.S. DOE), National Governors Association and Florida Department of Education (FDOE). Participating in the call will be U.S. DOE Deputy Assistant Secretary for Data and Information Ross Santy, FDOE Deputy Commissioner for Accountability, Research and Measurement Hanna Skandera, and California Office of the Secretary of Education Assistant Secretary for Education Policy Ray Reinhard.

11:00 - 11:30 a.m. today
