High School Reform Task Force Joins With Florida Summit on Mathematics and Science for Meeting in Orlando

TALLAHASSEE — The Florida Department of Education's High School Reform Task Force will meet in Orlando on Monday, December 12, 2005 along with the Florida Summit on Mathematics and Science. During the first half of the meeting, the two groups will hear presentations from state and national education leaders. In the afternoon, the task force will meet separately and break up into smaller workgroups to draft recommended strategies to meet the goals of high school reform.

The meeting is held in conjunction with the Department's K-12 Continuous Improvement Conference, which begins the following day.

The meeting will take place at:

9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
