Governor Bush to Hold Press Conference
Governor Jeb Bush will hold a press conference regarding the first complete release of a Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) tomorrow in Tallahassee.
Florida will release the 2004 Grade 10 reading and mathematics tests, which were actual tests taken by students and are no longer in use. The released tests will provide a hands-on experience with the FCAT and will serve as an additional resource to parents, educators and students.
Governor Bush will be joined by Education Commissioner John L. Winn, Florida’s Teacher of the Year Sam Bennett and Florida educators who have participated in the FCAT development process.
