Education Commissioner to Visit Damaged Sites in West Florida

Tallahassee — Education Commissioner John Winn will visit schools and college campuses damaged by Hurricane Dennis tomorrow, July 12. Winn will assess the destruction and offer Department of Education assistance to those institutions that need it. Commissioner Winn will be accompanied by Community College Chancellor David Armstrong.

The schedule is based on (CST) and subject to change:

• 10 a.m. — Workman Middle School, 6299 Lanier Avenue, Pensacola
• 11 a.m. — Pensacola Junior College and Shelter, 1000 College Blvd., Pensacola
• 1:45 p.m. — Milton Campus of Pensacola Junior College, 5988 Highway 90, Milton
• 3 p.m. — Pace High School Visit, 4065 Norris Road, Pace
• 3:45 p.m. — Santa Rosa School Board, 5086 Canal Street, Milton
