School Superintendents to Tour EOC

Tallahassee — School superintendents from across the state will convene in Tallahassee at the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) on Friday, June 24, at 10:30 a.m. Department of Education (DOE) Commissioner John Winn and Emergency Management Director Craig Fugate will brief the group on Florida's Emergency Management Plan and DOE's roles and responsibilities.

The Department of Education arranged for the tour and briefing to provide School Superintendents with first-hand knowledge of what occurs when a hurricane strikes the state.

The SEOC address is 2575 Shumard Oak Blvd., in the state of Florida Capital Circle Office Complex. Media should proceed to the south entrance for credential check and access.
